Crossroads Bible School

Friends has their own Bible School. In conjunction with the South African Theological Seminary (SATS) we have one of the best (if not the best) two year pre-tertiary course in the country.

The Bible School is open to anybody no matter which local church you attend, or even if you do not attend a church. The material is presented over two years.

CROSSROADS - The way to live and lead

Crossroads is a resource tool to help local churches run an in-house discipleship and leadership training programme. Crossroads provides the church the material it needs to set up and run a quality training programme. The material comprises: ready-to-use lessons, comprehensive notes, student handouts, marketing materials, administration tools and much more.

The church enrols students and purchases a student resource pack for each student enrolled. The church teaches the programme and SATS issues a certificate of completion for each student who finishes the course. Students who complete the respective years will receive 24 credits for each of the two years enabling them to receive a total of 48 credits towards further study should they subsequently enrol in a SATS tertiary programme.

Each student resource pack includes:

1. Full-text course notes,
2. Shortened lesson notes,
3. PowerPoint presentations for each lesson,
4. Open Office,
5. e-Sword Bible software and
6. Access to SATS online resource websites.

Crossroads consists of two tracks. Each track is designed to run for two hours, one night per week for 30 weeks.
